HaVaC Rover Unit is an awesomesauce Rover Scout Unit based in the cheery South Adelaide town of Happy Valley. HaVaC is a reincarnation of 'The Valley Crew' from another time, and roughly translates to Happy Valley Crew. We actually do know how to spell the word havoc.
HaVaC has a deep root in the foundations of Scouting; a number of our members are Queen’s Scouts and most members hold a leadership role within Scouting. We also have a number of fully trained members with Woodbeads. We’re all friendly and outgoing people, and pride ourselves on running fun, exciting and adventurous activities including 4WD trips, Caving, Cooking Competitions, River Camps, the popular and successful ‘Candy’s Restaurant’, regular bonfires, and much more.
In recent times, we have attended many Rover Scouts SA state-run activities, and look forward to what the future holds for Rover Scouting in South Australia. Lots of us will be attending WAM in 2014, and are already involved with the organising of AV2015 - It'll be Heaps Good! Check us out on Facebook and Merch Store.
HaVaC meets on a Sunday. Please check our calendar below for most up-to-date information.
