Bloo Rover Crew: Quality Rovering Since 1980
As being one of the more longer standing Rover Crews in South Australia, Bloo has been a proud member of the SA Branch of Scouts Australia for over 30 years now. The Crew is very actively involved in all areas of Scouting ranging from running events at a State level to helping local Scout Groups and other community organisations such as the Can:Do Group.
During its 34 Years of Service, the Bloo Rover Crew has established itself to be a provider of many great events and activities on the SA Rovers calendar. The biennial Academy Awards, which showcases the best, worst, brightest and dullests moments of the preceeding two years, has become synonymous with Bloo and Rovering in South Australia in general. Additonally, the Crew also organises and runs the Annual Anzac Day Netball Challenge and has done so for over 20 years. The Anzac Day Netball Challenge is fiercely fought by all Rover Crews in a battle for winner's trophy and the large wooden spoon.
The Bloo Rover Crew has a varied and unique program for young adults with activites from full outdoors with sailing and land yatching to movie nights and special annual beach parties.
